Very well made and easy to attach. Highly recommend for hot days on the water!
I’m so happy that someone was smart enough to create a deck cooler bag! I mean isn’t that essential haha. I’ve used it twice so far and love it. Stays in place, has a pocket to keep my phone and key, and the smaller one is a good size to keep drinks and food for 1-2 people. My board is from another company but in the future I’ll probably buy from Gili. I like their products and what they are about.
Arrived fast. Looks very well made. Has good attachment points for my board. Seems durable. Haven’t gone out yet because of the weather but I expect it to perform well.
This cooler straps right onto your board and stays put no matter how rough the water gets. It keeps everything insulated and cool and even has a mesh pocket on the front for any loose items on your board that need to stay dry! Thanks GILI!
I like this cooler a lot. I've been in search of the perfect cooler and dry bag for my standup paddleboard. Here are the pros: - easy to carry with over the shoulder, adjustable straps. - there's enough room for plenty of drinks and snacks. - stayed cold for 4 hours, which is the longest amount of time that I've used it. - items inside stayed dry even though it was drenched in water. - the zipper and top make it easy to open while it's strapped to the paddleboard. Suggestions: - I'd love to get rid of my dry bag and only use one bag. The fewer items I have to carry and attach to my board the better! I recommend changing the front small pocket to a larger pocket for the rest of your dry bag needs. There's really no point for the netted pocket. I'd rather have 1 large waterproof pocket or 2 small ones. Currently, you can squeeze a phone and your keys in the front zipper. I'd love more room to add sunscreen, small first aid travel kit, cash/ID, dry snacks, tissues. - I also recommend adding a strap inside the cooler to prevent the drinks from moving around. I put my cell phone inside the cooler because I forgot my waterproof phone case. And my phone wouldn't fit in the small front pocket. The beers rolled around and cracked my screen. - I like the hand strap on the front of the bag. It would be great if there was another strap on the top because that's how you typically hold a bag. - more color options. Black is a bad idea for being in the sun all day. The only option left was grey. I like the color but more choices is fun. - I like the netted pocket inside the cooler. Recommend making the pocket bigger and adding a zipper or velcro close. Everything falls out of it. A bigger pocket can hold dry snacks or even ice packs to leave room for more drinks. Overall I really like this cooler. For the cost, I'd like it to be perfect and there were a few misses that I think would give it a perfect 5-star rating.
