GILI Adventure Inflatable Paddle Board
How long does it take to inflate the Paddle Board?
It takes most people under 7-8 minutes to fully inflate our boards. If you're in shape you can do it in under 5 minutes. Don't forget to remove the black cap on your pump after about 9-11 PSI to make the last 4-5 PSI a little easier!
Is the GILI Adventure a fast paddle board?
Yes, it is! With the Adventure's touring shape, pointed nose, increased rocker and 32" widith, this is the fastest inflatable SUP we offer.
How do you install the fin?
Slide and push the fin into the groove and lock the fin with the rear latch. Be sure to read the instructions that comes with your paddle board.
How long does it take to inflate and deflate?
Inflation takes most people 5 to 10 minutes. Deflation takes only 2-3 minutes.
Can this board be used in the Ocean?
Absolutely! Our boards are meant for any body of water. If you are new to paddle boarding we suggest you try the board on a calm body of water before venturing out into waves.
Can you ride with a dog?
Many people ride our boards with their dogs. Be careful and watch your balance!.
Does the board come with a leash?
Yes the board comes with a leash. Everything you see in the photos is included!.
Is this board made from drop stitch material?
Yes! All of our boards are made from drop stitch material: drop stitching gives the board it's shape and rigidty.
Does the paddle float?
Yes! Don't worry - the included paddle will float if you drop it in the water..

United StatesThe Adventure 12’ is my first paddle board, and I’ve been really enjoying it so far. I like having all of the mounting options - they’ve been working great for my cup holder, cooler, and anchor. I want to try out the kayak conversion kit soon. The extra weight capacity of the 12’ is nice, and good for loading up with gear and the dog! Fairly easy to setup and breakdown, and the large bag fits a ton of stuff in it, including the paddle and manual air pump. Excited for many more years with this thing!
United StatesThe adventure 12” is by far the best board I’ve owned. I love all the anchor point this board offers. It more than any other company! I can attach anything from my go pro, cup holders or tie down my cooler. I love how easy it was to maneuver coupled with the light weight carbon paddle, my arms aren’t overly tired after going down the salt river in AZ. As others have stated either save or get a package with the electric pump, your arms will thank you. We had 1 outing where we used a manual pump and it took forever and we were sore before getting started. We Are A GILI Family For Life!
CanadaI use my 12” Adventure for solo 5km paddles along calm ocean bays. Pros: - Impressive quality - Snap in fins - Removable rear bungee - Unflappable stability - High visibility orange colour - Lightweight carbon shaft - Available kayak kit helps paddle upwind Cons: - While advertised as the second fastest board in the lineup, I do not feel it is particularly fast and muscling it gives minimal additional speed. - Centrefin needed a little material shaved off to fit in finbox. - A screw from a shaft lever fell out on 2nd use and Gili could not provide a replacement. - Light grey deckpad gets discoloured from rubber soled flip flops / water shoes. Washing with dishsoap as recommended by Gili has not remedied this. - Heavy poly paddle blade. - My partner bought Gili's kayak kit with the wrong blade type that falls out of the shaft when paddling. It would cost us hundreds in CAD$ to correct this mistake. I like Gili because: - Healthcare worker discount - Incredibly fast shipping to Canada - Responsive customer support Summary: Great quality board to get into the sport. For speed/distance, may want the 12’6” x 31 Meno Touring and full carbon paddle. P.S. Definitely budget for an electric pump to save your energy for paddling.
We love are boards and how easy it is to set up and disassemble ! Adventure is easy and amazingly best time have with my dog RUBY !
