United StatesI love this conversion paddle. When I go out with my dogs I am usually sitting because they move too much and usually launch me if I try to stand. It is so much easier to paddle kayak style when seated and it is nice to not constantly have to switch the paddle from side to side and accidentally bonk the dogs in the process. It is great to have the option to switch back and forth as needed. Love the versatility!
United StatesI bought just a blade, no kayak seat, and I have enjoyed having it on my SUP for when wind conditions pick up, or when I feel like kneeling or sitting to paddle. Two critiques: those with wide boards may wish the shaft were a tad longer; and splash guards would be a nice addition so you don’t get soaked from water coming off the blade and shaft - maybe Gili needs to get on that and make a splash guard kit!
United StatesI’m glad I decided to add this to my paddle board kit. I tend to lose track of time when the fish are biting , so this add on carbon blade will help me get back to shore faster to avoid being on the water after dark. Great job, Gili!
